Victory

I was so stoked and thankful to help create some graphics to support Christ's ultimate victory over death that we celebrated throughout the various Easter events at Cottage Grove Church. This is a shot of the overall theme and below is the original rationale that supports the visual direction.

The 'Victory' type is abstracted into a white waving flag that represents both Christ’s surrender to the crucifixion and his glorious victory over death that is the foundational flag we wave as Christ followers! The abstract red background symbolizes the brutal reality of what Christ sacrificed to forgive our sins. The Easter logo is a minimal line style mark of a thorn crown and cross, with simple type that aligns with the font used for other CGC branded collateral.
