Designers of all disciplines are united by the drive to solve problems, advance aesthetics and lay the foundations for how to think about the future. The increasing global interdependence and collaboration amongst visual designers, industrial designers, strategists, writers, photographers, videographers, illustrators and artists has created a community of purpose in an increasingly complex world.

Entitled CommUNITY, San Francisco Design Week 2019 — which runs from June 20th to June 28th — is celebrating this concept of unity. Ueno was invited to produce an artifact that responds to the brief of “Communicating Unity.”
