Ted iPad website parallax animation effect

I'm feeling nostalgic today, so here's an iPad optimised website I designed for Ted wwaaaayyyyy back in 2012 when I was living in London. Back then Universal Pictures designed each of their movie websites in Flash (for desktops), and I created iPad and mobile versions of their sites.

When you tilt the iPad to the side, the foreground, midground and background slide sideways independently, as Ted's beer tilts in his hand. This involved a lot of Photoshopping to extend the background and other parts of the scene to allow for the animation. Back in 2012 this was somewhat cutting edge hehe. Great client, good times 🙂
