Rediscovered Nike Concept

Was digging through some old files the other day and came across a Nike concept I had done for shits and giggles. This was originally started almost 2 years ago (hence some very specific athletes not playing for the Cavs anymore,) and I had originally only finished about 60% of it before moving on to something else. I decided it was time to finish what I started and just have some fun with it.

My original intention was to try and show Nike's impact on a global scale with worldwide running statistics from Nike's Running Club app and recorded running routes all over the world being visually represented, as well as trying to push specific athlete models for the e-commerce portion. I also planned on having many of the elements scroll along the grid with some form of parallax throughout the site.

Again, this was made a while back as a fun exercise to experiment more. I know this is something Nike would probably never go for, but after rediscovering this and still being relatively happy with where it was headed (and how it was finished,) I figured why not post it? Hopefully some people enjoy it.
