DNA of Development and Regeneration Services

Development and Regeneration Services is one of the services of Glasgow City Council. They handed me a rough pencil sketch of all the information they wanted to include in an infographic to explain the dynamic function of what they do. I thought the rough sketch looked a bit like a cell and thought it would be good way to present the functions of the service. I looked at the structure of a cell (Golgi bodies, nucleus, mitochondria, etc) and came up with a way to compose the structure of the information supplied in the sketch in to the organelles of a cell. I used a colour palette that is influenced by Mid Century Modernest Atom age design aesthetic to reinforce the optimism of this dynamic Department. This is the end result.
