Daily UX #2 - Smart Lock App Screen
Day 2/100 of my UI/UX challenge
Today's task was to build a smart lock app screen.
This is actually what we do at SmartRent so I wanted to mix things up and break away from the convention of clean and minimal design to be a little more adventurous.
I knew that I wanted clear color indicators of the lock's current state, and I knew that I wanted to have two-steps required to unlock to prevent accidental pocket clicks.
All in all, I think I got in a little over my head with the colors. I probably wouldn't move forward with this design, but it was fun to play around with. Let me know what you think!
