Cochineal

Through this work I make a bold statement about how we get dyes and pigments. By using the cochineal beetle (where most of the red pigment comes from), as a symbol of autochthonous Mexico, my birthplace, I used both Yrsa and Basic sans which gave the boldness and quirkiness to the whole layout. By developing an app for the fostering of techniques and knowledge for the creation of different mediums on which to apply the different pigments and dyes.
