The final iteration of a very long drawn out logo for my 'new' designerDoesDev blog where I will be writing about my findings of transitioning from a UI/UX designer to a developer.

I went through around 2 months of sketching originally and thought I had settled on about 3 different other logos only to scrap them all when I was really unsatisifed with my attempts. After a hiatus I started looking into negative space approach and came up with this concept using a code font decals to help shape the 'pencil' with the aim to give a link between the design and the code. (Not sure if I should drop the brackets from the text?)

Any feedback welcome and keep an eye out for my new blog hopefully launching within the next couple of months.
