Celebrating Indonesian Presidental Election Day

17th April 2019
-
Today, my country, Indonesia commemorates the holding of presidential elections.
.
One of the interesting things about elections in Indonesia is the tradition of dipping the little finger in purple ink as a sign that they have been voted.
.
For me, the symbol of this little finger has a deeper meaning. That the little finger for me signifies a friendship that is re-established after so long arguing and arguing with each other in defense of their own presidential candidate.
.
I hope that whoever the president will be, he will be able to bring prosperity and an advanced progress to Indonesia.
