A Guide to Elements Of Mughal Architecture
While studying architecture history at the University of Minnesota, I often wished that I had a simple visual tool to keep track of architectural elements between different cultures, styles, and dates. This project takes a vector of Humayun's Tomb in Delhi, India, generally considered the first building of Mughal architecture and breaks it down into the basic architectural elements that are related to Mughal Architecture. These are the elements that one would not know if they hadn't studied Mughal Architecture. When teaching a class about a specific type of architecture, professors tend to forget that many of the students don't know the terminology used in lectures. This tool would prove very convenient for the lost students.
