Part of the Daily UI Design Challenge.

I was inspired to do this after reading "Palaces for the People: How Social Infrastructure Can Help Fight Inequality, Polarization, and the Decline of Civic Life". One of the stories that illustrated how important libraries are for social infrastructure was the Library Lanes Virtual bowling league, where seniors in Brooklyn would participate in bowling through a XBOX Kinect. I loved how it allowed seniors to come together and showed the good that technology can do for our communities.

I designed this with seniors in mind. I included lots of whitespace, short sentences to make it simple and easy to understand, and made sure all of the buttons were as large as possible, to account for seniors with motor impairment. I also kept the design very simple, with high contrast for visual impairments that are more common among seniors.
