Toronto Subway — 2019 [Unofficial]
This is my take (v. 1.0) to make a piece of city navigation, which people see and read thousands of times every day, better, more readable and something that the city can be proud of.
I have eliminated line pivoting under stations, now the line is perceived as a whole line, not fragments.
Also, the interchange stations are more visible, and it takes less time to plan a route.
Moreover, the map answers the question: "which interchange station to choose: Spadina or St. George, while traveling North or East".
The overall structure has been simplified with fewer line twists.
Please leave comments and feel free to use it with no limitations.
Roadmap for v. 2.0:
- Add a layer with Toronto sightseeing and attractions;
- Clean up the grid;
- Add other transit systems if it does not sacrifice the readability.
