5 Elements Logo Concept 1

This is concept I am working on for a freelance client. She is a corporate consultant who is in the process of rebranding. The company name is based on the Chinese theory Wu Xing, or 5 elements. The elements are wood, fire, earth, metal and water. Each element has a corresponding color that represents the element. My goal with this project was to not be two literal, so instead of element illustrations, I went with the symbolic colors to represent the elements.
