桜の下に – Under the Cherry Blossoms

I've always loved Bashō's spring haiku (below) and was inspired by it this Spring season. I hope you like it.

木のもとに　汁も膾も　桜かな

ki no moto ni
shiru mo namasu mo
sakura kana

Under a tree
Soup and vegetables
Cherry blossoms everywhere
