Day 17: Email Receipt

Hi guys,

For day 17 of the UI Challenge I was asked to create an email receipt.

Luckily I had a lot of examples for this challenge (I deny that I shop too much).

So, for this challenge I opened my email and got my inspiration from the different designs that big companies like Asos and Zalando use as well as the designs of smaller companies like Bad Monday. With all these designs in a row I chose the elements I liked from each design and the wireframe of my email receipt was born.

The next step I took was to choose a color and a font.
For the color I went with a light blue, which is often seen as a sign of stability and reliability. I didn’t want to create a very corporate receipt, so I decided to use a rounded font to create a playful look.
