The Worship Center
As Web and Design Administrator, I designed and managed the website which targeted new and existing members and visitors. With a national and international reach, the website served as a hub of videos, messages, forms, online services, calendars, games, and eCommerce. It reflected the colorful, energetic atmosphere of the church and engaged approximately 400,000 visitors annually. I also created two 64+ page annual print and digital magazines which served as an extension of the website and featured a yearly calendar of events, ways to connect with the church and various ministries and volunteer opportunities. Based on research, approximately 40% of the audience read blocks of text and 60% were drawn to graphics, therefore more vibrant colors and graphics were incorporated on the website and magazines to appeal to readers. The magazine layouts/roadmaps were developed and through collaboration with the Marketing Team, advertisers, photographers and printers, 2 perfect bound magazines on 80lb cover stock were produced. We measured success by the increase in engagement which rose 68% the following years as well as an increase in web traffic.
