Girl Scout Cookie Packaging Redesign

My design team and I take on occasional challenges to help us practice our skills and create non-client work that we can put our individual styles on. For the month of March, we decided to take a stab at redesigning the Girl Scouts' cookie boxes. (Please note this was NOT commissioned by the Girl Scouts of America, nor are we affiliated with them in any way. This was just a fun personal project).

I decided to focus on the Girl Scouts' mission to teach girls skills in STEM, the outdoors, business, etc., and use that as the story behind the imagery on my packaging. I went with a resealable bag, since they're easier to carry, close and keep the contents fresh. The style for this design was inspired by mid-century illustration, Saul Bass, and even a little tiki-centric typography.
