Social with Substance Shirt

After showing a first design to the client and hearing "that's a good start," I had to take a step back and let my brain explore and dream a little more.

I had a pretty short time to come up with that first design and was reasonably content with it. I was hoping they'd just run with it, and I was honestly a little frustrated that they pushed to see something else — until I came up with this.

This design was received with much more enthusiasm by everyone I showed it to, so I had to thank them for pushing back on what was sort of a boring and uninspired design.

I will say I'm sure I drew some inspiration from work by @Steve Wolf and others employing similar geometric grid designs.
