A Rodent’s Final Choice

Completed on March 31, 2019. This drawing is based on a person’s most important choice in life: whether to put your faith in God, or risk suffering the consequences. On the right side of the drawing is a display of your life on Earth. First you’re in the womb, which is represented by the hamster cage. Then comes the rest of your life after birth; which after a certain age can feel really repetitive and drag on. This is represented by the hamster wheel. After the hamster wheel comes the mouse trap; our death. Along side our life we have struggles due to sin, these struggles are presented by the peppermint candles. Rodents don’t like the smell of peppermint and it’s often used as a natural repellent. The left side of the drawing is the ultimate choice: you can have the protection of Jesus’s hamster ball which no wax can penetrate, or have to endure everlasting pain. Upside down are the rodents who believed, and are in heaven.
