Why can my boyfriend post pictures of himself shirtless on Instagram and nothing happens but when women do this, Instagram takes these pictures down? Why can he run shirtless down the streets of our town and feel completely safe and ok, but I can't? Why do we think topless women are inherently sexual, no matter their actions, but when it comes to topless men they're only sexual when they want to be? Why is male toplessness ok but not female? What do you think this is, why are our #boobs so controversial? For me, the answer is simple: sexism is so normalized that most of the time we don't even question it. What do you think?
