WIP LOGO

A work in progress of a logo that I am working on for a freelance piece at the moment. There were some very early WIP shots I posted a while back.

He is a DJ and music producer, with a target audience of people who think differently to the average person, and this is carried across over to the music played and produced, no defined genre, just if it sounds good it gets played, but leaning more towards house and electro.

I tried to portray this with some experimental letterforms, trying to create letterforms differently to the average letter, and not falling into any defined genre of typeface; which I think all answers the brief well.

The shapes behind are small elements from each of the letters, filled with pixelated shots of rope-lights!
