Hanabi - Smash All The Windows Album Cover

I’m excited to present a brand new #design I did for English band Hanabi’s upcoming album SmashAllTheWindows. The band’s name translated means “flowers of fire” in Japanese so I took my inspiration from a fireworks catalog produced in the late 1800s by a fireworks wholesaler and produced a couple dozen small spot #illustration in that era’s utilitarian limited palette style to reflect the band’s sharp smart guitar pop. The album comes out in three weeks and you’re going to want to check it out. I’ve had early mixes for months and several tracks have set up camp in my brain and are crazy catchy and endlessly singalongable.
