Every time Bolsonaro mentioned the dictatorship as a congressman
Brazil was astonished when the president announced an official celebration of the 1964 coup d’état that started two decades of a military dictatorship in the country.
But that was not the first time he praised the date nor the authoritarian government.
During his time at the House of Representatives, he mentioned the regime in 1/4 of his speeches, usually surrounded by compliments.
Every block of this chart represents one speech. The dark ones contain at least one mention to the military dictatorship.
