DEJA ENTENDU

Out of all of the TBT album covers I do this year, there may not be a more defining album than this one. Deja Entendu is the record I never stopped spinning all 4 years of high school. So many things are still engrained in my head to this day; the baseline of Sic Transit Gloria, the feeling I get when I can recite the lyrics of I Believe You, But My Tommy Gun Don't entirely from memory, the connection to The Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot after my first major breakup. It's just too good to keep off of my favorite albums list to this very day.

Give this album another deserving spin today.

DISCLAIMER: I know this band is now on one of those lists where we completely ignore they ever existed because of certain unethical things, but it is still an album that deeply affected me, so it makes my list. I was a fan long before any allegations arose.
