C ~ Ching Shih

One of the most powerful pirates in history, Ching Shih commanded over 300 ships and 20,000 men with her “Red Flag Fleet.” For years the fleet could not be defeated, neither by Qing dynasty Chinese officials, nor by Portuguese or British bounty hunters. She was so feared she was dubbed "The Terror of the South China Seas." Talk about a powerful woman.
