Lastly a look at the seafood recipe theme.

One of the most important updates I wanted to do with this re-structure was to focus on how I could make adding recipes as easy as possible.

Before, all the information you'd see on a recipe page was unique to that recipe, so if 2 recipes had the same utensil I had to duplicate the data (same for ingredients).

At the end of last year, I started working with Dato CMS and have created a collection of reusable utensils and ingredients – so these can be used across recipes now.

I also moved nutritional information away from the recipe itself and tied it to each individual ingredient so the nutritional information is automatically calculated for me when setting the ingredients – this meant more work upfront to create a library of ingredients and their nutritional values but it'll save me time in the long run.
