I was hired to do a redesign for Bounce Patrol.

They are a kids music group - they make music videos for toddlers, with a large YouTube channel.

They also make DVDs, CDs, and assorted merch featuring their branding. Their brand is all about bouncing around and having fun - bright, bubbly and happy, with bright solid colors.

They use their logo and branding in a circle variant for their YouTube avatar, and a square variant for their social media presence, and in its full format on album covers, DVDs, merch, and web. They needed a logo that is flexible enough to look great in all those variants. and also the logo will be animated for their video intro.

Their old logo has some challenges when screen printing (too many colors, too complicated with small details) and the height makes it difficult to use for the web.

It was a challenge to redesign this, but I have chosen to offer more versions - some with more radical redesigns and some that are not so radical but definitely has a "facelift".

This version was presented second and was the accepted version - I thought it would be great to upload my work process here and let other designers see more insights of my process.
