Project F logo ideas

I was approached to design a logo for a new initiative to encourage more women into tech but also to stay in tech.

My initial ideas were to try and visually represent the gender gap, the balance of the sexes, improving growth within women in tech and technology alongside more obvious ideas like the lotus flower and the female symbol.

As always I worked in black and white to begin with so I could focus on the actual mark and the beginnings of the typography.
