Gettin' Juicy 'Wit It

As part of AIGA Charlotte's 2018 Beer & Branding event, my teammates (@Kay Mahon and Keri Rousey) and I created the branding for Gettin' Juicy 'Wit It.

This event is a competition where designers and design teams are paired with a homebrewer to create a label and identity for their unique craft beer. All brewers must use the same special ingredient, along with ingredients they believe to pair well to create the craft beer of their choice.

The ingredient this year was ginger, which our brewer, Elliot, paired with a “juicy” hop, along with pineapple. These juicy elements sparked Elliot’s inspiration in deciding to name his Witbier “Gettin’ Juicy Wit It”. We decided to go with a fun, vibrant 90’s hip-hop theme to emphasize its elements.
