Make Any Font

Feedback, please. I've been trying to build a variable font generator for designers in my spare time and I have some questions:

Does the interaction of changing a specific variable within the type (e.g. Arm, Counter, Crossbar) via a slider feel intuitive? Why or why not?

Are there other "morphing" mechanisms you would recommend to achieve the same result? (i.e. ways to adjust what the font looks like)

Any general advice for designing and building something specifically for designers?
