Logo Collapse

Real problem I had with this new logo. The SW header didn’t have enough space for the entire ‘DRIVETRIBE’ logo and we wanted to avoid at all costs to use the ‘DT’ version of it—which we would only use it in the favicon. The problem with the short logo was regarding new users that wouldn’t know what ‘DT’ meant.

The solution I gave was to do an animation of the logo collapsing from the full width on ‘DRIVETRIBE’ to ‘DT’ every time you load the homepage. Funny enough, before implementing this cool animation we changed the header to two lines for a different reason. This way the full logo would fit in the header the entire time 🤷🏻‍♂️
