20th Century Eastbourne

One of a series of illustrations for Heritage Eastbournes new museum, telling the story of the city through its inhabitants. This piece is about the 20th Century, through the eyes of WW1 soldiers recuperating, evacuees, holiday-makers and a magician! I wanted to tell the story of the 20th Century with a nod to one of the art styles, Art Deco.
