Concept logo and salsa product flexo (flexography) packaging
Client was seeking a short run product packaging for a salsa product. This packaging was to be used as a test run of the product to learn if the market will be able to bear a new salsa product on an already crowded CPG shelf, secondary uses was for samples. Often when print runs are small companies in these markets will choose a more cost-effective solution for the product, that is also eco-friendlier, and can be used as a differentiator when marketing the product.
My contribution here was to create a simple concept that this client could use in their business plan to gain funding. Client did not wish me to complete additional research so all I had to go on was their business plan and creative direction from the principle staff.
While I feel the visual was a success, I do not feel this client put enough effort into their research as such funding could not be acquired, and the product never proceeded past the ideation phase.
