Ww2 App Home Front Dribbble 01

Kelvingrove Grove Art Galleries Commissioned Glasgow City Council to develop an App with the aim of bringing the WW2 exhibits in the gallery to the attention of Primary (Elementary) pupils visiting the gallery. There were six exhibits the gallery chose to highlight in the App and working with a programmer, I developed pages for each station of the exhibits. I used a colour palette of the 40's while still engaging young people in modern UI interaction. I researched each exhibit and used these outcomes to create illustrations of each. This station dealt with exhibits to do with rationing in WW2 that Kelvingrove have. This painting was about Mrs Brown's struggle to provide food for her family during rationing.
