WW2 App Station Icons

Kelvingrove Grove Art Galleries Commissioned Glasgow City Council to develop an App with the aim of bringing the WW2 exhibits in the gallery to the attention of Primary (Elementary) pupils visiting the gallery. There were six exhibits the gallery chose to highlight in the App and working with a programmer, I developed an icon for each station of the exhibits. I used a colour palette of the 40's while still engaging young people in modern UI interaction. I researched each exhibit and used these outcomes to form the Iconography of each. The background is a summary map of each of the major phases of the European aspect of WW2.
