Tontine Icons Tree And Leaf

Glasgow City Council opened a hub for start up companies in the centre of Glasgow, called the "Tontine". It provides a base for very low rent and has all the facilities that an entrepreneur would need to find their feet. I used the legends of St Mungo, which are integral to Glasgow initial success as a trading city, as a metaphor for the rebirth of commercial activity in Glasgow now. The four icons cover the fish, the bell, the tree and the bird from the stories. Each of these icons was accompanied by a companion icon to use. These themes were used in the design of the "Google" style interiors of the Tontine. In this case the Tree icon has a leaf icon.
