Design Language System Evolution

When working on Design Language System you need to think carefully about how it will evolve, and how the vision will go from the ‘artboard’ to the ‘application’.

At Sage when the time came to apply recent updates to our Design Language System to products, we took the opportunity to review and improve all we could, including making significant improvements to the contrast and legibility of text, and data in particular.

This image show product before (left) and after (right) our most recent round of improvements I was able to apply to our system. You can see attached the new design applied to our dashboard.

More phases of work planned to bring more DLS updates to our product but would advise carefully considering what should roll out and when.
