Hamburger & Settings Animation

Concept animations for settings menu as well as hamburger menu. Since the content of the hamburger menu was just 2 items, I decided to not dedicate a whole screen to it, rather than slide them from the side, only covering part of the page. In the settings, my employer wanted to have a cool animation; but the curved pink background was a burden. Dragging it down and revealing the settings was my solution to this challenge. What do you think about them? Are they too complex for an app?
