Motion design explosion and 2d vfx study

I want to finish a project that I have started to work on . . . but the climax of the project - the EXPLOSION - ended up too flat. That is when I climbed into the RABBIT HOLE of "how can I create a more cool explosion with more volume". This resulted in a full-fledged 2d vfx study.
