Mobile POS: Search / Edit

Traditionally a typing search wouldn't work on a normal POS due to angle. Considering it's on mobile now we can utilize typing to it's fullest and keep things native to the server. In fact, I modeled this page after the "contact section" found in most smartphones to allow servers to understand and navigate using past muscle memory.

I had this idea one day to create a low barrier entry mobile POS for waitstaff. If you're interested I wrote a full case study about my process in creating this app (https://link.medium.com/LeXxlcxBmU)

*My Thoughts*
This project has really made me think more about the environmental variables for the user. Based on the user's surroundings the needs change. is it a quite or loud restaurant, is the servers hands full or empty, are they on the move or standing still, is the restaurant crowded or dead? These things directly affect what the server needs. Then you take it one step deeper and see how those things affect the emotional state of the user.
