The Immersive Technology Conference (ITC) is a technology and software conference dedicated to virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality solutions for non-gaming or non-entertainment applications.

Before I met the ITC team, I had never put on a VR headset. As a gamer, I kept hearing about the new technology and latest hardware, so I naturally became curious about what the experience was like. When my good friend and colleague Natacha Poggio invited me to a local Houston VR meetup, I jumped at the chance to be able finally immerse myself in VR and unsurprisingly—I was hooked. After finally being able to experience VR, I immediately appreciated the ways it could impact not only gaming and entertainment, but also business, training, and education.
