Website: Harrison's Fine Antiques & Art

Harrison’s Fine Antiques & Art is a high-end store that emerged from an appreciation of the finer things in life, especially the old and beautiful, the different, and the unusual.

Harrison’s prioritizes excellent customer service and a memorable experience, so it was imperative that their new website reflected those values. I came on board with Harrison’s several months before the doors opened, in the midst of a whirlwind of preparation for the grand opening of their new location. After the previous web designer fell through and they were left with a half-finished website built in Wix, Harrison’s was ready to invest in a new web experience that showcased their breadth of high-quality items and appealed to their target demographic.

The main goal of the site design was to appeal to the higher-income shoppers of Houston’s Highland Village and River Oaks districts. The site uses plenty of white space to convey an upscale atmosphere, with light-weight typefaces used to exude elegance. Imagery is isolated against white backgrounds to let viewers be able to view the items without any distractions.
