iOS / iPhone Cellular Settings Redesign
Apple recently started displaying cellular data for apps based on usage, which is a small but major departure from their tried and true alphabetical order used in all previous iOS versions.
While perhaps fine for a casual consumer of their products, not so for someone who’s constantly accessing their usage, both to monitor it and/or adjust apps on the fly while traveling, etc.
Given the level of frustration this can cause when searching for one app out of over a hundred (in my case), it’s really surprising that they’ve not yet released a fix – or at least reverted to alpha ordering.
So, as I’m sure our feedback is falling on deaf ears, I thought I’d start exploring some simple solutions to fix said issue and gain at least a moment’s satisfaction at seeing such a glaring oversight remedied.
