Variable Futures

Variable Futures is a web and print exploration of the new OpenType variable font specification. It comprises a website, publication, flipbook and 3D printed typography.

This was designed last year in collaboration with Luke Guilford, and developed by myself for our studio project during the first semester of our final year at design school. Check out the site (in Chrome on desktop for the best experience) at www.variablefutures.com, or watch the video on Vimeo.

This project won 2 Gold Pins at the 2018 Designers Institute of New Zealand Best Design Awards, New Zealand's national graphic design awards.
