Swirl Logo 1

I sketched an idea I had, and liked it. Built the "mark" in illustrator: http://cl.ly/HRYu (no tracing). Then attempted to glassify it into "style-1".

If I use this idea for the identity, I could either
a) build on the "mark" and go for a modern more flat style/website
b) build on the styled one and go for a more skeumorphic style/theme/website

The idea behind the logo is basically "2 things combined into 1" the word i choose to use for that will be in the name and typography of the identity.

Thoughts?
