New Twitch Logo

For those who may not know, I moved halfway around the world from sunny Wales to go work in rainy California a little over 3 months ago. I actually came to work for Twitch (Justin.tv) in San Francisco. Twitch are a live streaming video game portal where gamers come to show off their skills and interact with their followers.

Part of my work so far in the short period I have been here is working with the design team on a rebrand. This includes a new logo, a new website front page to the site (with some sub-skin work) and other marketing material. We will be rolling out changes slowly over coming months with new site features and well... all sorts! :)

Our new logo, (super stylized text only version used in the main shot), is a good touch of retro, bold comic book influenced with angular text that comes from the old Twitch logo, a little bit from the game Wipeout with some Japanime and in the case of the full logo some Mario influences.

Check out the full 'flat' logo attached, and also the animated version that we used at our booth at E3, which will hopefully be embedded in our live video during ad breaks as well sometime in the future.
