Is This Thing On?

I learned the other day that Benjamin Harrison (our 23rd president) was the first president to have his voice recorded! I'm sure he was pretty nervous, can you imagine what kind of pressure he was under? Back in the day when you had to use a Phonograph to record none the less. Also pictured here headphones and recording signs, which totally existed in 1889.
