Star Artwork 6 - Whetu Ono

The sixth artwork in the 'Whetu Series', these artworks are based on stars. They are smaller than my 920mm diameter moon works and take me about a 1/4 of the time to make. Still pretty labour intensive though. I especially like to use the smaller, more interesting artefacts from my hoard of timber, wallpaper, cabinet handles, door trims, light fittings, etc. Each one is very different and is made with whatever I have close at hand and tends to take shape right before my eyes.
