Inelegant tool tip

Figured the natural inclination here would be to click on the slider, which is problematic for various reasons. I'm hoping this little on-click popover will do the trick and that people quickly pick up that they're supposed to use the buttons below to time their action, as opposed to chasing the slider. Will need to test.
