바나나 (banana)

A little while back, while studying Korean, I wrote the word 바나나 (which is pronounced more or less like the Spanish word banana) and noticed the continuity of the horizontal line.

I thought it would make an interesting illustration, and this is what I've got so far.

I think I need to connect the verticals with the horizontal a little better than I see where this is currently going. Any thoughts?
